# Help for GSOC 2026 from mentor @krisstern and @damianszczepanik

**Subject:** `[GSoC 2026] Looking for mentor — Improving cucumber-reports-plugin Trend Visualization and Data Integrity`

Hi Jenkins community,

I have submitted a GSoC 2026 proposal for improving trend visualization and data integrity in the cucumber-reports-plugin. I have already had PRs #1329 and #1333 merged into the plugin with CI passing.

I am looking for a mentor willing to support this proposal. I am happy to discuss scope, adjust deliverables, and align with mentor availability.

Improving the cucumber-reports plugin is not in the list of accepted GSOC ideas.

Thank you Markus for the clarification! I will pivot to an officially accepted idea. I am a Java developer with Jenkins plugin experience (PRs #1329 and #1333 in cucumber-reports-plugin). I am most interested in the Jenkins email notifications using Outlook SMTP with OAuth project. Could you or anyone point me to @slide_o_mix or @krisstern to discuss this idea further?
