I have tried checking git version and jenkins version in the instance where jenkins is hosted. All seems ok. Can’t seem to find the issue. Also I am new to jenkins pipeline

Hello @zabhi04 and welcome to this community. 👋

Did you check the network connection?
Please ensure that the Jenkins server has a stable network connection and can access the Git repository.
You can test this by manually running Git commands on the Jenkins server itself.

You could also check the server performance…
If the Jenkins server is under heavy load, it might not be able to complete the Git operations within the timeout period.
Check the server’s CPU usage, memory usage, and disk I/O.
