    • After submitting the PR last week, there were some issues
      • Brackets were escaped unexpectedly

      • Bruno saw a bug in Crowdin
        • Jelly in some code tags converted “jelly” to “elly”
        • Instead of “:jelly” it became “:elly”
        • In the machine translation, includes “jelly” → “elly”
        • Need more plugins added
          • Mark to add several plugins he maintains
        • Bruno continue attempting the translations
    • UTF-8 encoding alternatives, options, and more
      • A Chinese translation has been completed
      • Translating Chinese on Crowdin generated a PR that is shown and readable on GitHub
        • Pulled in and released, but the result in the plugin is not readable in Chinese
        • Stapler first loads the file with the wrong file encoding, then modifies
          • Loads in ISO 8859-1 and then transforms into UTF-8
          • Basil indicates that the Stapler code could be switched to use UTF-8 once we’re on Java 11
        • We need some form of converter to convert UTF-8 to ISO-8859-1
      • Alternative might be to convert exported strings in the pull request
        • Bruno has seen something similar previously
        • Could let GitHub Actions or another tool to do the transformation
        • Hope that Crowdin has a specific solution
        • Once Jenkins requires Java 11, then we can update Stapler to use the new Property facility with UTF-8 properties
          • Jelly, groovy, and HTML help files are unaffected, use UTF-8 now
