  - Docker quickstart
    - Created a working example, new pull request for the maven tutorial
      - No more docker in docker (no need for the security risks or complexity of DinD)

    - See the [GitHub - ash-sxn/GSoC-2023-docker-based-quickstart: Repository for GSoC 2023 Docker-based Jenkins quick start examples.](https://github.com/ash-sxn/GSoC-2023-docker-based-quickstart) demo
      - Created a job, ran the job, watched it run on the agent
      - Installed a plugin, confirmed it worked, saw that the agent and controller were Debian

  - Building [jenkins.io](http://jenkins.io) with alternate tools - [prototype site](https://vandit1604.github.io/jenkins-ui-project/)
    - New pull request has been submitted for the solutions pages
    - Minor work on the main site to fix redirections

- Open pull requests of interest
  - Administering Jenkins on Kubernetes from Tanuj Sharma
    - [PR-6474](https://github.com/jenkins-infra/jenkins.io/pull/6474) proposes an outline, needs review from those who know Kubernetes
      - Jenkins on Kubernetes rather than Administering Jenkins on Kubernetes
      - Install instructions become purely configuration with an opening link to the Kubernetes install chapter
        - Include the “Configuration Management” info in this section

      - Link from installation page to this new configuration page
      - Review and correct content in the Kubernetes install pages
      - More generic name like “reliability” so that users understand the limitations of Jenkins in Kubernetes
        - Loss of a pod requires start of a new pod, some downtime during the restart

      - Link from the Kubernetes specific sections to relevant general purpose pages
        - Troubleshooting k8s should link to the general purpose page in addition to Kubernetes specific information

      - Invite reviewers to compare existing content and k8s content for improvements in both places

  - Mark resolved a conflict in an old PR of Meg’s
  - JE-Chen
    - [PR-6478](https://github.com/jenkins-infra/jenkins.io/pull/6478) - Best practices (needs more text)

  - Scripting and security page
    - [PR-4693](https://github.com/jenkins-infra/jenkins.io/pull/4693) has comments that Kevin or Mark could use to revise it further and merge it

- Mark Waite out of office July 14, 2023 and July 20, 2023
  - Cancel those meetings?
  - If not, who will volunteer to run them?
  - Plan to skip those meetings
